Participants explore how sound travels, how materials vibrate and how invisible waves can become visible through movement and patterns.

Discovering Sound Through Vibration

Meeting the instrument- Campanula

Participants are invited to observe the instrument up close, listen to its sounds, and explore how vibration creates music. Through questions and demonstrations, they discover how the length, tension, and thickness of the strings influence pitch and sound.

Sympathetic Resonance - When a string sings on Its Own

One of the most magical moments of the workshop is the demonstration of sympathetic resonance using a long string and several other materials.

Participants observe how one string can begin to vibrate without being touched, when another string tuned to the same note is played. This phenomenon reveals how sound travels through the air and transfers energy between objects.

The activity encourages participants to think about invisible connections and the hidden movements that surround us every day.

Listening, Exploring and Creating Together
– A Shared Sonic Experience

After exploring vibration, resonance, and the long string, participants are invited to take part in a collective sonic experience.

The long-string installation is activated through a short improvisation using the string itself and a variety of resonant objects placed around it. As the sounds emerge and evolve, participants are encouraged to move freely through the space, discovering how the sound changes depending on where they position themselves, listen, and interact.
